Reba A. Auslander

Principal

Reba Auslander has more than 25 years public relations and integrated communications experience in North America and globally, focusing on strengthening reputation and building share of voice for dozens of healthcare companies and organizations. Any one who has worked with Reba knows she is always at the ready to help clients solve their communications challenges with creative and strategic solutions. In today’s fast-moving healthcare environment companies need to know they can rely on their communications partner to work across disciplines to swiftly and effectively get results.

Reba holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from York University, Toronto, Canada; a Certificate in Public Relations from Ryerson University in Toronto, and a Diploma in Advertising & Public Relations from the College for Administration & Business, Tel Aviv, Israel. When not working and spending time with family and friends, Reba trains for triathalons, volunteers, cooks, reads, and travels. She sits on the Board of Trustees for Congregation Beth El in South Orange, NJ, and is on the Board of the Columbia High School Music Parents Association.

Peter Steinberg, MBA

Editorial Specialist

Peter D. Steinberg is an expert in the development and refinement of communications materials for diverse audiences. A 30-year healthcare industry veteran, Peter provides specialized editorial services and strategic counsel to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, device manufacturers, medical specialty societies, contract research/manufacturing organizations, patient advocacy groups, and other organizations engaged in the communication of health-related information.

A member of the American Medical Writers Association, Peter has extensive experience in developing a wide array of materials for medical, scientific, commercial, and patient audiences, across more than a dozen disease areas. Peter holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Stern School of Business Administration at New York University, and a B.A. in English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis. Peter and his family live in Western Massachusetts, where he pursues a range of interests that include music, literature, cinema, hiking, softball, and yoga.

Eliza Schleifstein

Media Specialist

Eliza Schleifstein is an accomplished life sciences and healthcare communications media specialist with 20+ years of experience. She is passionate about media relations and has solid media relationships with reporters at top-tier outlets, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Street.com, Associated Press, Reuters, Bloomberg, Time, Scrip and the television networks, among many others.

Eliza loves communicating scientific data, regulatory and financial milestones, and building corporate reputation programs for pre-commercial stage biotech and medical device companies. She has worked on 100+ FDA approvals and Advisory Committee meetings, and has expertise in crisis communications. Eliza was previously a vice president at Ogilvy Public Relations and ran media relations for the healthcare practice’s largest account, PROCRIT, during what was known as the “Anemia Drug Wars” period.  She began her career at Ruder-Finn and GCI Group.  Eliza holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Nancie Steinberg

Media Specialist

Nancie is a media relations and communications professional with over 25  years of experience covering a wide range of skills, including earned media, branding, crisis & issues management, advocacy, corporate social responsibility and nonprofits.   

Nancie has spearheaded media relations for major pharmaceutical companies with award-winning programs in several disease states including oncology and immunology, cardiology, infectious diseases, mental health, and dermatology, among others. Prior to specializing in the pharmaceutical industry, Nancie was a Senior Media Relations Specialist for the prestigious City of Hope National Medical Center in southern California, a Director of Public Relations for Cabrini Medical Center in New York City, and a Public Information Officer for the American Medical Association office of media relations.

Nancie is the president of the Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society (HPRMS) of New York and is on the board of the Publicity Club of New York. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BA in Communications.

Angie Wiles

Angie Wiles is the Founder and Head of UK-based The Difference Collective, a unique network that connects clients with the best people and projects in health communications. Angie, who has been a healthcare communications professional for nearly 30 years, built one of the most successful UK consultancies and grew it into a global entity. During that time, she learned what worked well and what didn’t in the traditional consultancy model. She founded The Collective to provide clients access to exceptional healthcare communications talent, experience, commitment and productivity, without unnecessary overhead and business administration.
